The Aspen Aerials UB60 series is purpose-built for efficient, safe, and precise under-bridge inspections. Designed with advanced hydraulic engineering, this unit offers unmatched agility, making it ideal for accessing even the most challenging inspection zones.
Reach Where Others Can't
At the core of the UB60’s versatility is its fourth hydraulically activated boom. This feature extends the platform’s working range, allowing inspectors to navigate between bridge girders with ease. When perpendicular to the third boom, it can lift personnel up to 9 feet 9 inches higher—perfect for reaching difficult or obstructed areas beneath the bridge deck.
Unmatched Control and Safety
The UB60 is equipped with a highly responsive control system, setting the industry standard for precision. All boom and turret movements are managed via electro/proportional valves, allowing smooth, independent adjustments for each function.
Operators can choose from three control stations for maximum flexibility:
- A fully hydraulic main control station
- A platform-mounted control panel
- A 20-foot extensible remote control with interchangeable electro/hydraulic controls
For added peace of mind, each station includes an engine kill switch, which simultaneously shuts down both the auxiliary and chassis engines in emergency situations. These controls come standard on all UB60 units, delivering ease of use and operational safety.

Under Bridge Work Platform
1,000 pound load capacity, permitting engineers and workmen a secure means of accessing Under Bridge areas and returning to the truck deck, without leaving the power extensible platform.
OPERATION
Workmen reach Under Bridge areas safely by mounting the platform from the truck deck stowed position, then riding it to the work face (eliminating the hazards of "climbing the aerial") and back.

Interchangeable Aerial Package
The Workmaster platform can be supplied as an interchangeable accessory for a telescopic boom/bucket aerial unit to maximize the prime mover (truck) investment. Swap-over time is 30 minutes, either in the shop or in the field.

The Bridgemaster- WorkMaster 50' is equipped with a Double Telescopic Boom (Boom 3) that allows for compact stowage. Its Articulating Boom (Boom 4) supports a bucket mount designed for high reach behind fascia beams, enabling close-up, hands-on access and precise maneuverability through tight truss structures.
Despite its compact deployment profile, this versatile under-bridge inspection unit offers a reach of up to 55 feet beneath the bridge. It features right-side-only deployment and requires only a minimal shoulder closure for safe operation—no outriggers needed—minimizing its footprint on active traffic lanes.
The system includes four booms:
- Boom 1 extends up to 17 feet.
- Boom 2 reaches beneath girders as deep as 21 feet.
- Boom 3 can extend to the centerline of a 116-foot-wide bridge deck.
- Boom 4 positions a 3-man bucket underneath 20-foot-deep girders and allows vertical movement between them.
